The Tortall Legacy

Again, I don't have an eye-catching picture to draw you in. I could go in game and grab a picture from the recreated Aly and Nolan, but I don't think you'd recognize Nolan. And the story of the recreation will come later around generation I and then again around generion K, because my game doesn't like me apparently. I'm writing this while playing my legacy and it's kind of hard to grasp that I've been doing this legacy this long and how different they look. And you'll have to wait until generations I and K to hear the recreation stories.

Anyways, time to go into what you've been waiting for, the next part of the chapter.

Brokefang and Black God were quieter infants than Baird was. Though, if both were crying at the same time, it was worse than Baird crying. But then, Aly expected that as there were two infants contributing the volume of the cry this time than when Baird was an infant.

Several weeks later, Aly felt ready to return to her job and was able to secure another promotion pretty quickly due to the retirement of a prominent Commander.

Soon, it was time for Brokefang and Black God to grow up. Brokefang got to age up first as he was the older of the twins.

Namesake: The God of Death in the realm of Tortall. [I'll repeat what I said in the last chapter: It is a fictional God for a fictional country.]

The twins were cute together and spent several hours trying to see who could make the most noise. Aly sensed that her twins would be just like her and her twin and her mother and her mother's twin: trouble makers.

It was hard work getting the twins to learn to walk, talk, and use the potty, but Aly and Nolan got through it. They put some of the burden of keeping the house clean on Baird's shoulders as he was a child at that point and could handle some responsibility.

Soon, Baird was a teenager. He had always craved knowledge and was very interested in his Grandfather George Cooper's first career: thievery. Of course, this wasn't Aly's first choice of a career for her eldest son, but she wasn't about to tell him he couldn't. It's why she left home in the first place.

Soon Aly discovered she was pregnant yet again. She truly hoped she had a girl of her own this time.

Much to Aly's joy, she gave birth to a lovely baby girl. [Much to my displeasure, she gave birth in the bathroom.] Aly named the baby Buri after a close friend of Thayet's.

Soon it was time for the twins to become children. [Brokefang went first as his aspiration was about to go yellow and Black God needed one more potty session to get potty trained. That and he was older.]

Brokefang grew up in his pajamas just like Baird did when he aged to child.

And Black God did as well. Black God is also handsome, too.

Buri happened to have the same birthday as Black God and Brokefang.

Brokefang's 2 nice points are showing through as he throws a fit after Baird taught him to study.

Buri, like her older brothers, was a fast learner. She quickly learned to walk, talk, and use the potty.

Baird brought home a teenage friend from school. They hit it off and Baird snagged his first kiss.

Soon it was time for Buri to grow up. The boys were off playing and Aly was still at work so it was just Nolan helping her grow up.

Buri, like her brothers before her, grew up in her pajamas. She's pretty, though.

The next day, Aly taught her daughter how to study. Baird had already done his homework and the twins were putting it off again. [Buri's everyday is the bathing suit. What was EAxis thinking making the SWIMSUIT everyday?]

Soon, it was time for the twins to grow up. First up was Brokefang. [Again, if you've seen one, you've seen them all.]

Brokefang grew into a handsome teenager. He was always into socializing and making friends and had looked up to his father in his career pursuits. Brokefang just hoped that he had the same skills his father did.

Aspiration: Popularity
LTW: Hall of Famer [Nolan's LTW as well]

Black God is also a good looking teenager. However, he was always into goofing off and having fun. He always talked about seeing how many people he could date. Neither his parents nor his older brother Baird could get why he wanted to see how many people he could date, but they did not try to talk him out of it.

LTW: 50 1st Dates

Aly soon hit the promotion that she really wanted, the one to General. She was also chosen to head the spies of the military, since she appeared to have the right skills for the job. [I missed her turning into an elder, oops. Aly is also now permaplat.]

Soon Nolan also became an elder and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for athletes. Nolan would eventually retire from the sports world as his aging body could no longer take the daily beating of practices and games [Nolan is now permaplat].

A few weeks later and a burglar attempted to get away with robbing the place and was apprehended by the authorities before he was able to get away. [I forget if he took anything.]

A year later and it was time for Buri to become a teenager. [All four kids were in private school.]

Buri saw how happy her family was and decided that's what she wanted: to have a family. She also wanted to remain happily married into her elder years. Her family agreed with her and her parents hoped that all four of their kids would eventually find their one true love.

Here is where I'm supposed to put a nice eye catching picture. However, my photoediting skills aren't that good and when I was doing generationss A-C (A being founder) I wasn't doing a story as I decided after I started to document my legacy, so the graphics aren't that great. Not horrible, but not great. However, past about the middle of generation C, I think I got the graphics turned up. Also my picture taking skills have improved immensely from the start.

Anyways, my theme is mostly the characters of Tamora Pierce books. I'm mostly going to use the names from the Tortall universe, but I've had to go to the Emelan universe for generation X due to a current lack of any names that start with an X.

Meet the founder, Aly Tortall. She's a popularity Sim with the lifetime want (LTW) to have 20 best friends. Her personality is 4/6/5/5/5. Aly is named after Alianne of Pirates Swoop. She's the daughter of Lady Knight Alanna of Olau and Pirates Swoop and Baron George of Pirates Swoop.

Aly didn't have much money to build a house but she had the essentials. She got a job in the military career as that was the best job in the paper that day. Also, she would love to get into the spy business. The one thing about being out of her parents' eyes is that she could choose the career path she wanted to take. Not get career paths taken away from her because her father knew of the dangers of the business.

Aly found it comforting that the people of Mountain Valley were so quick to welcome her to the neighborhood. Tortall was a nice place to live, but you were lucky if the residents decided to come over to your house to welcome you. They'd welcome you if you walked by their house of if they wanted to borrow something that they knew you had. But she didn't recall anyone telling stories of neighbors coming over just to welcome you to the area. [None of the members of the welcome wagon party were elligible for Aly to marry. All three of them are playables, not to mention Wanda Tinker's married, Malcolm Landgrab IV produces unique looking kids, and Gilbert Jaquet just looks odd (and I don't like his name).]

Aly went downtown a few weeks later and met Nolan [it's been way too long and never recorded his original last name, I also forgot to get pictures of her downtown]. Aly was lonely in her house and she really did want to settle down at some point. She knew her parents wanted grandkids and she herself wanted to have kids.

Aly and Nolan soon fell in love. Aly had him over almost every day trying to get to know him better. [I also had a problem taking pictures of everything, probably due to me deciding 2 generations later to document it and not from the start.]

A few months later Nolan decided to move in and using the money that Nolan had saved up, the house got some upgrades. Aly spent her time working towards getting promotions. [Missed getting the shot of Nolan moving in, oops]

Aly soon proposed engagement and a few months later they got married in a very quiet wedding. Nolan is a knowledge Sim with the LTW to be a hall of famer. His personality is: 2/3/9/7/4

Aly soon became pregnant with their first child and went on maternity leave. Aly and Nolan hope they have enough money saved up so that they can give the child the best possible life.

Aly was making friends with the people who were in the welcome wagon. Being pregnant really hindered her efforts as she was slightly moody. She also needed the contacts within the neighborhood considering she wanted to be a spy master some day.

About nine months later, while star gazing for fun, Aly went into labor. Malcom Landgrabb and Sandy Bruty were over that night visiting and were also there as witnesses. She gave birth to a boy whom Aly and Nolan named Baird.

Military regulations didn't give Aly much maternity leave, but she was in such high spirits coming off giving birth to her and Nolan's first child, that she was chosen as the next Drill Instructor. Considering this would keep her out of harms way, Aly was very pleased about the sudden promotion even though it wasn't the promotion she was hoping to get. She was hoping to be chosen for the spy academy.

A few years later and it was Baird's third birthday. Soon Baird's personality would start showing and how he would begin to look more like his parents than just an infant.

Baird turned out to be a fairly quick learner as a toddler and quickly learned his three skills of talking, walking, and using the potty.

Soon it was time for Baird to grow up into a child. He was a very handsome toddler and he grew into his pajamas. Which was appropriate as it was night time.

For those of you who like to see the layouts of houses here is the layout of the legacy house at this point.

Baird rolled a want to learn body out of no where and he was really good at gaining body points using the career reward. Who knows, he might have enough for a scholarship when he is a teenager if he keeps it up.

Baird brought home Claire McClellan one day after school. They got along quite nicely for kids who still think the opposite gender have cooties.

[I just think the picture is funny. A pregnant Sim busting a move.]

Baird picked up the art of studying for school just as fast as he picked up his toddler skills. The boy is a genius practically, it seems. [And no smart milk was used, and Seasons wasn't out at this time.]

This pregnancy had been a bit harder than her previous one. She had a slight feeling that she was going to have twins. It would not surprise her if she did. Her mother was a twin and so was she. It would not surprise her at all if she had twins herself. Her gut feeling was right as while making breakfast one morning Aly gave birth to twins. Meet Brokefang Tortall.

This is Black God Tortall. [No, Black God is not a real god. I seriously got a guest book signing complaining about him when I said he was the God of Death in Tortall. Hmmm, Tortall isn't real, chances are neither is Black God.]
